Help Me Read Good
January 24, 2006
Okay, so I can't decide what I should read. I've been reading a lot of non-fiction lately and I need a break. I need some good fiction. Please post any recommendations you have in the comments.
For a little reference, I've been digging Jonathan Ames and Jonathan Lethem lately. That being said, feel free to recommend books by authors with first names other than Jonathan.

Depends upon what type of reading you want.
History: John Adams (title) by David McCullough is a great biography, it was on the NYT bestsellers list for a year.
Father Joe by Tony Hendra (co-founder of National Lampoon). Bio about a close friend as well as a bit of a memoir.
Anecdotal: David Sedaris is quite funny; actually, him reading his books is quite funny if you can find audio of that.
So yeah, let me know if you find any of those to be good reading.
